Using multiple versatile processes in combination, Low Cost Mailing extracts data into digital archives. Such operations can be applied to existing paper or electronic archives and also applied to novel capture solutions. We use all of the following:

Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

OCR is used to capture machine printed text from scanned paper and electronic documents

Barcode (CBC)

Barcode reading to manage documents and transmit data.

Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR)

Used to translate hand-printed text into editable data from scanned documents.

Optical Mark Recognition (OMR)

Used to interpret scanned documents for ticks, crosses and marks, typically used for capturing data from surveys and questionnaires.

Web Based Forms

Customised web forms, accessible from the internet and/or intranet, allowing instant storage and retrieval of data.

Used to access and analyse existing databases and other software applications.
